Our visit to this Japanese BBQ restaurant was a fantastic experience that was equally fascinating for children. Being able to prepare the food ourselves on a grill made dinner special and interactive.
The meats we enjoyed were choice and of the highest quality. The Garlic Rice dishes in particular were an absolute dream to sink your teeth into. Every bite was a delight.
Even our child’s mood was noticeably brightened by the experience. The taste of Japanese chicken parts with rice found a place in his heart, and he has now discovered a new passion.
We really couldn’t fault anything – the meat, ingredients, quality and service were all top notch. Although the prices were on the higher side, the quality and service provided met our expectations. The taste of the food was delicious and the entire experience was worth every penny. We can recommend this restaurant without a doubt, especially if you are looking for a memorable Japanese BBQ experience.
Ah-Hun is a great place for when you want to try out wagyu meat! The service was amazing and everything was served very quickly.
We ordered the dinner menu and absolutely loved all of the dishes served. The starters were delicious, when the meats are served you can grill them on your own pace. We also enjoyed our dessert, especially the yuzu ice cream! They also have amazing cocktails. We really enjoyed our night and we will be back for sure.
Absolutely! Ah, the Japanese BBQ joint was a blast! They whisk you away on a flavorsome rollercoaster with their top-notch fare and drinks. The tuna? It’s like a flavorful cloud in your mouth! And those yuzu cocktails? Pure liquid dreams! Oh, and make sure to cap off the feast with an affogato – dessert bliss awaits!
If you are into in Japanese cuisine, you should give a try to AH-UN. The restaurant is decorated so lovely. Their staff is so nice. We have tried the yakiniku lunch menu and it was great! They serve with gohan, miso soup and salad. Their sauces were so delicious. I can’t say that it is cheap but well deserve it.
I think for the price and quality you get is quite okay
okay it might not be a whole lot of meat if you order a set (we had 4x times the Wagyu set) but I think it was the right balance.
with each set you get a bowl of rice, salad, soup which for a normal person is quite okay. if you’re a big eater this definitely isn’t enough (which is why we ordered some more meat)
A tip is definitely the Butter Wagyu hotstone rice…the portion is huge and you can easily share it with 3 or 4 people 🙂
the rice had a really nice “Wok Hey” (Wok breath) and it tasted a bit peppery as well which had a real distinct flavour…you’ll be craving for more!
Tip 1: maybe give some more veggies with the sets? the sets are quite pricy 40-50 euro but 1 mushroom en 2 asparagus seems a bit too little…maybe add some other veggies (veggies are cheap anyways)
Tip 2: Staff seems to be a bit all over the place…I had to walk twice to a staff member to get my drinks ordered (otherwise they didn’t see me). Maybe try to look more at the tables? I just couldn’t get the attention of a waiter/waitress…maybe because we were a bit in a corner spot…
p.s. your pin machine is still configured as Fish Market…might want to change that to Ah-Un as I can imagine you don’t want to have any connections with Fish market anymore?
All in all i would come back to this place to eat Wagyu again…it might not be the best bang for your buck but the quality and ambience of this restaurant is really nice which also pays off.
Tasty food and lovely atmosphere! We visited on Sunday for lunch. It was pretty quiet and I found it very relaxing. The waiters were friendly, but they left us alone to enjoy our food and conversation. Great experience.
Dinner with friends and turned out great. Nice vibe, fast and friendly service, great quality/price meats.
You might be judging the location, but it’s worth it for a brief diner. Not too fancy, but proper enough to dress neat.
Finally found a good/authentic Japanese BBQ with reasonable price! We ordered a set each and was enough food.
Please consider opening up a shop in Eindhoven, I guarantee that it will be popular! Eindhoven needs more good Asian food!

Great food, quality of the sashimi, gyoza, and sushi were amazing.
Also the meat sliced nice and thin, easy to grill, all the pieces of meat tasted diffrent and delicious

Nice place with really nice food. Sushiset as a starter and two beef set as main course. Nice staff. I only missed the fresh wasabi, that would really make it like being in Tokio. See you next time.

Good yakiniku place with sushi selection. Really nice drink selection with many sake, shochu and umeshu choices. They even have Ramune. Food wise, the Wagyu is definitely their most attractive offer.
