We highly recommend Naansense. The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel incredibly welcome. They even treated us to some incredibly tasty chai tea whilst we waited to be seated upstairs. We enjoyed every single bite of our stuffed naan. Don’t miss out!

After reading some 5 star reviews, I decided to try order from naansense. Love the wacky name!

As a Hyderabadi, I think I am qualified enough to judge on the authenticity of the nawabi biryani and I have to say the biryani is good! The flavours can be further improved but I was impressed although I don’t know if raisins belong to biryani, never had them back home ;).

The naan pizza with butter chicken was very nice! Soft naan, cheesy and loved the flavour of the chicken. Very unique and I 100% recommend it.

Overall, the order was worth the price.

I have been coming here for 15 years (previously known as the North Indian Diner). A fantastic cheap eat, great selection of curries, and some of the best, authentic Indian food available on this side of Sydney. Great to see it’s had a makeover, where the decor now matches the quality of the food.

I walked passed Naansense before but everytime Just before opening hours. When I walked past last Friday they were open and I finally had the chance to try their food! The menu on the board outside caught my eye because you can see it’s a different approach than standard Indian restaurants. They have stuffed Naan, Naan pizza’s, naan wraps and curry menu’s with Rice. Optional sides are lentil soup and salad. Desserts and traditional Indian hot and Cold drinks are also available next to basic soda’s.

The owner is so friendly and recommended me the stuffed naan. My daughter and I chose the butter chicken and velvet lamb for take away. And we also had a mango lassi. The mango lassi was so delicious! I wonder if the mango they used was the yellow mango because it was soo good! While waiting I also got a complimentary Chai tea and it was delicious. So nice to cool down when it’s so hot out. When we arrived home we had the stuffed naans and the spiciness is not very hot so my daughter could eat it as well which was perfect. The lamb was perfectly stewed and the chicken was also tender and not dry. It’s so hard not to undercook or overcook the lamb. I hope I can Come back soon for another mango lassi and try the Curry in a hurry because the Rice sounds so delicious. I hope they Will also have the option to order naans seperatly on the menu with garlic or cheese and garlic. Overall a great experience!

This evening I had the pleasure of dining at Naansense, a new restaurant in Rotterdam that opened less than a week ago. Their menu is pretty small but this enchanting Indian restaurant left me absolutely captivated by their exquisite blend of flavors and warm hospitality.

The highlight of my dining experience was their superb creation, the Indian version of the Pizza. The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite, and with the first bite, I was transported to a realm of pure satisfaction. The soft, melt-in-your-mouth paneer and spinach paired with fragrant spices and a thin, crispy crust, made for a pizza experience that was truly unparalleled. It was a delightful fusion of traditional Indian recipes with their contemporary creation that I will undoubtedly be craving again soon.

The Chickpea Rice was a revelation in itself. It tasted fresh and the fluffy basmati rice, cooked to perfection, was infused with an array of aromatic spices that elevated the chickpeas to new heights. Each mouthful was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, leaving me utterly contented.

The Vegetable Biryani that we ordered was amazing. Although they didn’t have a veggie biryani in their menu, being a vegetarian I asked if they could customise the chicken biryani and the owner immediately agreed to it. It was a culinary symphony that left me longing to savor it over and over again.

To complement this incredible feast, my wife and I indulged in the refreshing Lemonade Mint Cooler that was both rejuvenating and invigorating. It was the perfect accompaniment to the robust flavors of the dishes, adding a delightful zing to the entire meal.

Apart from the exceptional cuisine, the service was impeccable. it is is a small restaurant but the ownership exuded warmth and genuine care, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience had a personal touch.

In conclusion, our experience was nothing short of a delight. The Paneer Pizza, Chickpea Rice, Vegetable Biryani, and the Lemonade Mint Cooler all contributed to a culinary journey that exceeded my highest expectations. If you’re seeking an unforgettable dining experience that combines traditional Indian cuisine with innovative twists, look no further than Naansense.

The prices are extremely competitive and is worth it. The portions/ serving size is adequate.

Also, do enjoy the unlimited complimentary Masala Chai that will leave you wanting for more.

The food was really good and refreshing.

We had the chicken biryani, veg rice/ velvet lamb and garlic naan.
    Saus we took:
    – chili-tomato-garlic saus (5/5, this saus was really good, spicy (2-3, i would’ve liked it spicier).
    – Yogurt-cumin-cucumber saus (5/5), the best yoghurt saus I’ve for biryani.
    – mint-coriander saus, was also good (4)

Overall the food for us was a 5/5.
Spiciness was 2/5 (I love spicy food so this for me was not at all spicy, but you can ask for more pepper).

The biryani was served with an egg, which I think was a really good add-on. The first biryani I’ve served like this.

The garlic naan we only got because we thought we could eat it with the lamb curry, but my partner liked it better with the veg rice.

Overall the food was a 5/5.

The chai was very welcoming we asked for two cups 🙈 (also rainy weather and chai are the best combination).

The place just opened, so the din-in option is limited.

Omg! The best Indian fushion restaurant i have ever tasted. The chicken briyani is amazing, the stuffed naan pizza is FAN-TAS-TIC! Iam litterly a big fan of the plnaanpizza’s. Head off to the Chefkok. Servove is also nice. They are sweet and humble persons.

Mouthwatering flavor with so many delicious layers of flavor in each bite. My favorite was the velvet lamb wrap. The mint chutney was so good, naan was great texture. Velvet lamb so tasty and tender. My wife was obsessed with the stuffed velvet chicken naan. Great and friendly service as well. Cant wait to try the rest of their menu. Definitely my go to for indian food and will be going back next week 🙂
