I love this place!
The most delicious Hot Pot I’ve ever tried. Favorite broths are spicy and cheesy. The broth comes with a set of vegetables, mushrooms, meat, etc, rice and sause. You can order something extra, but we were always full with the standard set. One Hot Pot is ideal for two people.
They bring Hot Pot with all the filling inside the broth, which is not very good, since it gets ready at the same time and you have to eat everything very fast or it’ll overcook.
The place is a bit small, so it’s inconvenient to come with a large group.
Still highly recommended!
An update.
I went there again. They have Hot Pot for 4!
Very good experience voor a great price. Food was all well marinated, tasty and even quite creative. These were not the most common options at normal Japanese restaurants. Paid just over €20 each, even including the sukiyaki. Definitely recommend just to try some unusual dishes. Will try the ramen some other time.

Very lovely little Diner. They serve ramen aswell as rice dishes. They have chicken, pork and seafood. The prices are not too high and you get a full meal. The quality of the food is good.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. Always feels nice walking in here.
Coming here for six years now and this is one of my favorite places. I recommend placing a reservation if you come with a group.

There are numerous ramen restaurants in the centre of Rotterdam but Set Noodle Rotterdam stands out from the crowd. The sign outside is rather small and inconspicuous and people may not notice it. Once you step inside you know instinctively you are going for a treat. The menu is small but exciting, the spicy miso ramen with pork was absolutely scrumptious and the gyoza outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised that the price is truly affordable considering the very high quality of the food. The service deserves another star! Can’t wait to return soon. Highly recommended.
It was just a fate to find this place, we were searching the place where to eat by walking on a street, and suddenly I noticed hidden (kinda) door,firstly we thought it’s a drinks shop but after we were surprised to see that it’s a nice restaurant where you can eat noodle soup(exactly what we were searching for).Well, it was worth to visit this place-rich bullion,amazing texture, huge portions. My recommendations!!!
Super tasty ramen, I added extra noodles so I got very big portion (I really thought it would be small that was why’d added noodles and I could not finish it. So, I think normal size would make you full)
Pork is very soft and soup is sooooooooo good.

I had the Lava Volcano Ramen. They say it’s extremely spicy. I found it wasn’t too spicy. If you can handle a little spicy, its definitely worth a try! The broth is amazing.

They were playing Baka Mitai over the speakers and the food was both amazing and super affordable, one of the best spots in Rotterdam.
there is a very nice anime vibe here, but its low key tho so that people that dont watch animes can also enjoy eating here.
My favorite ramen place, the best place for a date!
I was here yesterday (sunday 03/12/2023) and as always my favorite bowl (pork volcano ramen) tasted amazing.
As for the review below mine, i’ve seen what happened and it’s unfair to the employees as they only did their job. They dropped their bowl by accident, but were stunned when they had to pay for another one. This is a restaurant! Ofcourse you have to pay for what you order. Regardless if you ate it or not! I hated the way those girls slightlt laughed about the situation.. made my blood boil. Disrespectful of them! Not the employees fault here.
To me, SET noodle is my favorite place, the best service and me&my boyfriend will always come back to eat here! ❤️
Good menu with variety of Japanese dishes. There are several types of Don (Japanese rice) and Ramen/ Udon. Highly recommend the Ramen dishes. They are very delicious! Will return everytime I am in Rotterdam.
