I had an amazing time at the Square47 for my birthday. The food was amazing and the team made sure me and my friends had the best time possible. They even made a special desert for the occasion. The atmosphere is great and the service was truly perfect. Thank you again for such a great evening! I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an outstanding night in Rotterdam.
Very cozy place with nice decoration in the center of Rotterdam. Waiters are extremely polite and helpful. The menu has some very interesting choices and all the dishes were really tasty. Appetisers, main courses, side dishes and desert were all great, very well decorated and really tasty. The portions were much bigger than what I would expect. The price is good for the quality food and great dishes you are going to taste along with such a nice atmosphere
Just moved to Rotterdam and this is already one of our favorites! Great food, great vibes and the service is of the best we’ve experienced here in this city. Huge shout out to Mike! He’s on top of his game and makes sure we have the best experience every time we’re here.
I was on guard when I saw this restaurant is at schouwburgplein because normally the restaurants in the area plain burger places. Square 47 was a nice surprise. Chef came out to talk about the food. Surprising flavoring combinations. Loved the garnalen kroket, decent sushi. 5/5 The restaurant is well designed and nicely styled. Has cosy round booths. Atmosphere 5/5. I would go back.
I had an amazing time with some friends at this restaurant. We went for some cocktails and dinner and I definitely recommend their signature cocktails. The service was also really nice, Arturs the bartender, and Daan, the waiter, were really nice and we had a great experience.

Staff is incredible. Restaurant has a nice vibe and food met all expectations. But again, highlight goes to the staff.
I seldomly do reviews. But this experience was exceptional. We ordered a couple of salads, shrimps in garlic, fries, drinks and beer.
First; The head waiter went beyond normal service in helping find the right beer for the food with taste options.
Second; The food was very tasteful, and the assigned waiter made excellent recommendations based on our requests.
Third; The check-ins from the staff were timed in a good manner, and thus removing used dishes etc. went seamlessly.
Forth; The drinks were very good and special version were created with a nice composition.
Fifth; Staff were quick to react (even though they were quite busy) when we reached out, and in case of the payment it went smooth indeed.
A delightful experience, good all round music, and good closure of a nice evening. Cheers!
The food tastes amazing, especially the crispy gambas, waiter Tim was extremely polite.
After a nice walk in the city center, we noticed true the window a beautiful restaurant. When entered you will experience an outstanding ambiance of calm wood and green tones. The wine bar is fabulous a real eye-catcher. We ordered wagyu sliders and shrimp garlic. We love food and our taste buds where positively triggered. Fabulous taste and the look and feel where spot on. Definitely coming back. Cheers B&D.
